Avoid Airport Stress, Fly From Luton
Some airports are worse than others; take Charles de Gaulle in Paris for example. It’s a pretty horrible place with cramped corridors and men ready to steal your wallet away. Of course at the other end of the scale is Terminal 5 at Heathrow and sure, its had its fair share of bad press, but who wouldn’t prefer going through this terminal instead of the Paris version.
But when it comes to some of the other UK airports you can fly in and out of, Luton hardly springs to the top of your mind, yet it provides all of the basic services the big guns do and does so in what feels like an easy, uncomplicated way. Let’s start with Luton airport parking is really easy and stress free. Unlike other big airports, you don’t get lost, don’t have to walk or bus miles to get to the terminal and they don’t charge you a fortune.
You can also get some great deals on accomodation with an amazing number of Luton airport hotels all providing various levels of comfort and quality, some with fitness rooms, bars and even spas. The area also has plenty of banks and financial services allowing you to change your currency up or book some last minute travel insurance.
There is also a ton of places to eat, not just at the airport, but locally too, all within 15 minutes easy reach of the terminal building. Checking in is a breeze and getting through the usually stressful security area seems almost enjoyable, its that efficient.
It’s difficult to imagine choosing a destination based solely on where you fly from perhaps, but the next time you want to jet off to sunnier climbs, you’d do well to remember that you can get to India, Hong Kong, North Africa, Greece, Turkey and almost every major European country from Luton.
