No Taming Miley Cyrus

We have seen this lots of times before. A typically Disney backed teen pop star that has a fan base ranging from any toddler old enough to mouth the theme song to their icon’s T.V series, to young girls still arguing with their parents about late night phone calls.

We have also witnessed the hard and at occasions awkward transition these teen sensations make from adorable small puppets that do as they’re told, to opinionated young adults that battle for control of their careers. Miley Cyrus is next up in this line of teeny boomers, anxious to step away from her little screen alter ego and burst into a new scene of her presumed lengthy profession.

Miley Enjoys Unparalleled Good results

Though Miley can be compared to past teen stars, the level of success she has attained at her age puts her in a league of her own. She netted $17 million on her, &quotBest of Both Worlds," tour back in 2007 when she was only 15 Her Hannah Montana movie topped the boxed workplace that similar time period which brought in one more $65 million and it is estimated that she is worth an unbelievable $50 million, mostly attained because of the overwhelming good results of her hit TV series.

Miley Breaking Out Of Disney Cage

But it was inevitable that at some point Miley Cyrus would eventually overtake her beloved Disney character Hannah Montana, a role she very first started at the age of 12 and is at present in its fourth and final season. And it has been clear with the recent acting and singing projects Miley has taken on, that now that time has arrived. First with her depiction of a conflicted teenager in the movie, &quotThe Final Song," and far more clearly in her new music video, &quotCan’t Be Tamed." In the video Miley fights to get out of a cage, with oversized black angel wings on her back with not a lot else on to cover her up, and the chorus beating in the background hinting at her desire to break away from the quirky T.V series punch-lines and vague songs about young crushes.

What really should make this transition flow a lot more smoothly for Miley is the man behind her sur name, former nation star and Mr. &quotAchy Breaky" himself, Billy Ray Cyrus. His knowledge in the business is undoubtedly an advantage Miley has more than her teen star predecessors. Though former flames Britney Spears and Linsey Lohan each and every had parents that had zero to negative impact in the handling of their child&rsquos fame, Billy Ray still has Miley obeying typical home guidelines and has denied her full access to the large majority of her cash until she is at least 18.

Teen Star’s Transition Not Devoid of Controversy

Not to say that Miley’s growth has been devoid of any missteps. A controversial vanities for bathroomses for bathrooms Fair cover shoot, which saw Miley’s front portion covered with only a blanket, brought on Disney (along with Miley) to apologize before the concern even got to the stands. Add in a lesser pole dancing incident and most recently her outfit during her performances at this year’sMMVA’s in Toronto, and there is some speculation that Miley may possibly be growing up too quick for her legions of followers.

But you can also argue that there is no acceptable way to move out of the realm of being a youngster star. Britney took a couple years off before diving into her a lot more adult image and still faced heavy backlash. Yet another ex- teen star,Amanda Bynes, recently retired at age 24 after becoming hugely popular by starring in a series of Nicholodean shows and teen oriented flicks because the age of ten. It’s generally complex to grasp how fans and the media will respond to child stars making the move out of adolescence and becoming their own individual.

Cyrus Far better Ready For Fame

Miley looks to be the rare success case out of a countless group of now depleted teen stars. But with so substantially extra riding on the young Ms. Cyrus because of the unparallel good results she has already obtained, and considering that of her becoming equally adept at both acting and singing, not to mention having parents that realize the business, especially her father, Miley’s probabilities of keeping her cool and handling the barrage of attacks looming from the media appear very much extra plausible. All we can do now is watch and wait to see which path Miley Cyrus career will go.

Hairspray (Soundtrack to the Motion Picture)

Hairspray (Soundtrack to the Motion Picture)

$7.97

What fun! This soundtrack of the film adaptation of the Broadway musical overflows with glossy, ol’ fashioned ’60s-style pep. It won’t win any awards for innovation, but it may well be one of the most feel-good releases of the year. While not quite as super-energetic as the original Broadway cast, the new crew ain’t too shabby: Nikki Blonsky delivers as Tracy Turnblad and Zac Efron (High School Mu…

The delightful designs of William Joyce (writer/illustrator of such popular children’s books as George Shrinks and Bently & Egg) make Robots a joy to behold.
